About the studio

Pandora Appbox is built around careful product choices and maintainable systems.

The studio focuses on software that stays readable at every layer: product language, interface behavior, deployment shape, and long-term operational ownership.

What the studio is trying to do

Pandora Appbox is a small independent software studio. The goal is not to publish a large catalog quickly. The goal is to build a compact set of products that remain clear, useful, and technically defensible.

That means spending more energy on the quality of a few surfaces than on expanding into a heavy stack before the product direction justifies it.

How the work is approached

  • Design should reduce friction instead of adding ornament for its own sake.
  • Operational simplicity matters because it improves reliability and supportability.
  • Infrastructure should be understandable enough to own directly when needed.
  • Privacy and data handling should be explicit, not implied by marketing language.

Current public product

Habit Stonks is the studio's first public product. It explores a local-first approach to habit tracking, with secure sync available through a self-hosted Supabase environment.

Additional products may appear over time, but the site is intentionally restrained until that work is ready to be shown properly.
